CE: Last Respects

Aaand the post-exam drawing spree has begun! (´w`)/

This is my entry for the contest held by the lovely pastelaine-art 
I chose to draw Death Wish, a grim reaper who guides the dead, because
I instantly fell in love with her story and design... Her outfit/design has a
lot of details so drawing it was a challenge but good practice! I hope I 
haven't missed anything though. 

I imagined a scene where she would come to pay her respects to someone
she held a special connection to that died. Being an immortal must be very
lonely. Also, given the theme I couldn't resist to put some classical vanitas/
memento mori symbolism into it ;w; (In case your not familiar with the
concept, Vanitas refers to artwork that bear symbolism of death and the 
fleetingness of human life)

I nearly died working on the background, but I hope it gives off the atmosphere
